The data is terrifying and dispels any notion that Zoomers would swing the pendulum back from millennials. If anything millennials have shifted right because they've paid taxes and had kids. Parents must take responsibility over their children. TikTok must be banned, as it provides a 24/7 stream of woke leftist indoctrination. And the groomers teachers unions must be dismantled. I used the same photo to describe my experience as a millennial in college 15 years ago, but it's gotten much worse at an earlier stage: https://yuribezmenov.substack.com/p/how-to-groom-commissars

Another outstanding piece Andrew. We need a full-time army assisting parents. The faculty dedicate their lives to these narratives and parents are simply over-matched. The other side is playing The Long Game. Also, we need to galvanize parents of college age kids to press their administrations and withhold donations. This will be extremely important after the Supreme Court rules and legacy admission is illegal.

The nationwide push to legalize marijauna and worse drugs is a major consideration here. The opioids took hold during the Obama years, now the marijauna, hemp, and cdb normalization is destroying the motivation and critical thinking of the millenials, and plenty of older folks as well.

Seeing society from two completely different sides with the kids you loved and nurtured, is a painful experience. If you can't see eye to eye with your own kids, can you imagine how it will feel with your grandchildren? I 100% believe the problems began with a breakdown of religion and the Family.-this allowed the indoctrination to take root. Any Grandparents out there, like me, who want to band together with Andrew and make your voice heard??

Dreadful, having escaped Soviet Russia, I don’t want to spend my last days in American version of Marxist Utopia. I am frightened by prospect of my children and grandchildren living that nightmare.

I regard the midterms as the best barometer on what’s to come. I was convinced of a red wave. For a second, it looked like people were finally waking up. I was wrong. The lesson learned for me is those who voted for the democrats need to feel a lot more pain before they wake up from their zombification. We’re not anywhere near the bottom and the ride will get a lot rougher in the next few years. I don’t think those of us on the other side will have much influence. They control everything and taking back institutions is not feasible. There has to be a revolution within the Left. We need to get out of their way and let them destroy each other. I’m looking at places like Dubai longer term. A conservative society with many western comforts and no woke insanity. I think the west is lost. I’m sorry for my pessimism. I wish to be wrong.

While mid-70s-aged patriots still kicking, all hands on deck for saving education from the anti-American crowd. Teachers unions have always wielded very big sticks!

Yikes, that was a scary post to wake up to this morning. <G> But excellent analysis on the midterms. We've examined the heck out of messaging, turnout, and other factors, but the reality is that our schools have been changing the baseline demographic for decades. I have been researching and writing a new book (due out in January, I hope) that takes a deep dive into what our K-12 looks like these days and their focus in those schools on political agendas.

You hit the nail on the head that this is the REAL danger to America as our children are propagandized to a singular political focus. The real issue is NOT what is happening right now, but what happens when these millions upon millions of refocused children become adults, voters, politicians, and more. My book focuses on a foundational reformation that could turn the tide on this.

The question is... is it too late already? We can't know that yet. But we know where this is headed if we do nothing.

"Hollowed Out" indeed! Culture either supports evolution or it supports devolution. We are stuck at devolution.

Let's not get overexcited here. The purpose of the propaganda is not to convince women to stop having children. The Democratic Party is also captive to global capitalism and its wealthy individual donors, and they want women to have children to have more workers competing against each other to lower wages. The trans insanity and other woke ideologies are simply branding to distinguish the Democratic Party from the Republican Party. They are "wedge" issues. Also, some of the Democratic Party's donors are themselves gay or trans. Nor do I think the US will ever have a "Marxist" government. I do think your idea of pointing out that the woke ideology is political speech not education is a good one.

A few thoughts. I think the abortion issue played a large role in turnout in states where electing Republicans to control all of the branches of state government could mean strict abortion laws or its elimination completely. New York & Florida are two states where that wasn't an issue so one wonders how much impact that had on the results. Secondly, it is time for the GOP to move to the center on issues like abortion, healthcare etc. The party needs more people like Susan Collins and less like Lindsay Graham. Finally, I think thesepercentages will change over time as these voters get older & acquire wealth.
